On the teacher's birthday, the children brought gifts. The florist's son brought flowers and the candy store owner's daughter gave the teacher a box of candy.

The liquor store owner's son brought a big, heavy box. The teacher lifted it up and noticed that it was leaking. She touched a drop of the liquid and tasted it.

"Is it wine?" she guessed.
"No," the boy replied.
"Champagne?"
"No."
"I give up," she said. "What is it?"
"It's a puppy!"

I PASSED MY DRIVING TEST!!!! WHEEEEEEEEEE!!! Haha! Anyway i was actually very nervous about the driving test, as much as if not more so than for the exams....dunno why too.... but yeah i was so nervous i actually dreamt abt the test and in the dream i failed cause i ran a red light and drove up the kerb...so i was awake since around 6 even though i slept at 12...but i just stayed in bed trying to go back to sleep which didnt work. So when i got up i noticed the sky was pretty cloudy and it looked like it was going to rain...But it didnt! I was so happy when it started to brighten up even though it got pretty hot.

So yeah on to the test itself. I think i got lucky and had a really nice tester but i was still pretty nervous. The circuit part went by without a hitch but when i drove out onto the road, things started to get bad... For some strange reason i started shaking..... and the really weird part is though my upper body was fine (my hands and head were very steady) but my legs were shaking like crazy! Had quite a bit of problems controlling the clutch cause of my shakey leg....haha pretty funny now that i think abt it. I also had a pretty easy route (route 5, the one with the wide U-turn!). But in the end i got 16 points! Haha! Really dont think i deserved that many points but yeah im happy i passed so never mind! Now i can really enjoy my holidays and not worry abt having to go anywhere like school of bukit gombak!

Oh and those who want a driving instructor u can ask me...i promised mine that i would recommend him to everyone...haha!

...all i need now is a car...

Chemistry!!!!

NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the chem test was a complete disaster!!!!!!!!!!!! the questions were alright but as usual there was not enough time!!!!!!!!!!!!! AAARRRGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! im doomed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i think im going to fail!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this will be the first chem test i have ever failed in my entire life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hopefully i can get 10/20........though that isnt very good!!!!!!NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! it is going to puul down my chem promos final result!!!!!!!!!!!!NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! how will i be able to take chem 's' paper!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! must study very hard from now on!!!!!!! and practice writing fast!!!!!

arrrrggggghhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!! i cant believe i did so badly for the chinese mock exam!!!!!! noooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i have never done so badly in chinese before!!!!!!!!!!!!!!who cares if it isnt a real test!!!!!!!!!!! this is the first time i got below 60!!!! in fact,this is the first time i got below 65!!!!!!nooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!! aaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!! why cant i be smart like yong kiat!!!! why couldnt i have done as well as paul!!!!!!!! nooooooooooo!!!!!!! i feel so stupid!!!! nooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!! better start mugging like marc and yong kiat.................then again maybe not..........................dont want to go crazy........... but then i wont do well!!!!!!!!!!!!aaaaarrrrrrrgggggghhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!! what a predicament!!!!!!!!!!!!!noooooooo!!!!!!!!! i guess i might as well mug since i already seem to be crazy.............sigh..............goodbye...............

Today i almost died.......Twice!!!!Yes, you heard me( or rather read me)....i almost died........Twice!!!anyone one with weak constitutions please stop reading this entry now!!!the first time was when i thought i lost the pw file.............during recess!!!!!!!!

AAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!i didnt know which to choose............miss recess or go and look for the file..................i was thinking of going to look for the file immediately but decided that my health was more important........after a quick bite..... i rushed up to the fifth storey,using the lift of course, and dashed into class....i frantically searched under my desk...........and there it was.....hidden under a dense layer of air!!!!!!!!!!how did anyone expect me to have been able to find it hidden there......anyway that was my first narrow escape with death.........the second experience was far more worse.......

school had ended and i rushed off for my ocip meeting......after about an hour when we had split up into our groups i received a mysterious phone call......i was hesitant to answer the phone and left it vibrating in my pocket.......a long while later,about five vibrations, i decided to take the risk and answer the phone...........slowly i put the phone to my ear........a shrill voice was heard on the other end of the line........upon receiving the urgent message i sprinted out of the room......there i saw the mystery woman......she was tall and wore a blue skirt and white shirt........her long hair was tied in a pony tail and it flicked about recklessly, whipping anyone who got too close.........and in her hads i saw...................my pw file!!!!!!!!!!!!she had kidnapped or rather file-napped my file!!!!!however i was wrong......she looked at me sternly before handing it back to me.....................sigh........................how relieved i was............two attempts on my life in one day is truly too much for my frail heart...............

if sarah hadnt found the fie i would be dead by now........caroline please dont kill me after u read this........i promise to take better care of the file.....if i remember..........so once again Sarah, thank you soooooooo much!!!!



hahaha i'm soooo bored. i've nothing to do at home. or i had nothing to do so i decided to find the above posts and post it here. haha. shame on you if you can't remember. ok. i've gotta go out for dinner now. tata.

Ive been pretty bored ever since the end of the exams and and for the past 3 weeks or so ive been reading all my unfinished books, playing all the free games i could find online and driving...with the occasional outing....but lately ive really run out of things to do so i finally decided to do something constructive with my time... BAKE! And today was my first time baking by myself! Okay...i had my maid help me with stuff but i didn most of it myself!

Yeah anyway...today i tried to bake profiteroles! For those who dont know, they r like cream puffs, usually piled pretty high like a pyramid and covered with chocolate ganache! Heavenly! But yeah, i was using this baking book by nigella lawson, who's food looks pretty good on tv, and her profiteroles used custard filling and toffee instead. Still good!

So yeah, things started off pretty well and i started with the pastry....but things started getting bad! Even though i had all the necessary ingredients with a few substitutions i didnt have most of the impt tools! like a piping bag and a food processor to mix the dough....so yeah....things went down hill from there....in the end...the pastry turned out a bit on the soggy side....but on a happier note the custard and toffee-like topping turned out really nice! Would post up a photo.....but it was really just too ugly.... but if u closed ur eyes and ate it it wouldnt be half bad! So yay! Cant wait to bake more!

Today i took the most amazing bus in my life! When i flagged the bus down, i thought it was any old 156, but it kind of looked strange cause its number board (???) was electronic with orange numbers. When i got on, it was like entering a nice little mobile lounge! The seats were upholstered white leather! And they were lining the sides not like the usual rows! And there was this little fake bar with two seats facing this picture of a fake bar tender. Kind of silly but yeah, looked cool! And further back in the bus there were those modern-looking semi-cup-shaped single chairs with cushions. Its to promote Nokia Mobile or something like that...nokia everywhere... Yeah it was really pretty sleek but not really practical for mass transport...but yeah... it was COOL! If only more buses were like that....

Just got back from driving a short while back and from the way things are looking at the moment, i think im going to fail my first driving test.... my instructor either wants me to fail or he just doesnt trust me.... he always helps me brake! And he doesnt tell me when he is doing it! So i will never really know whether i applied the brake properly or not! So yeah...thats why i think im going to fail....cause most of my problems usually lie in my speed...i either go too fast or too slow... But what irritates me is when he asks me to speed up then scolds me for going too fast.... BAH!

Oh another major problem is anticipating traffic lights, which im really bad at, as in i dont know whether its going to turn red or not...But yeah, for those who've passed already, can u tell me when u r approaching a green traffic light, what do u do? Maintain speed or slow down? And just say u r driving on a 70km/h road and theres a green light ahead.... how much do u slow down by? And what if it suddenly changes amber? Do u stop or do u carry on? And how far from the traffic light? Sigh....hopefully all the lights stay green for me and i hope i get a route which only has the wide u-turns...heh....

On another note, the science and math council have a new shirt design which looks pretty nice!
