happy ORD-day, happy Guy Fawkes Day
happy ORD-day! it's been one year since a lot of us ord-ed.. it seems like such a long time.. and yet also at the same time (or not) like such a short time as well... like how time passes here.. so fast and yet so slowly.. maybe i just don't have a very good sense of time.. which would explain how come i'm always late for the first thing of the day (be it lecture at 9 or prac at 12, etc) without fail.. except for today.. although i got up the latest i've ever gotten up for a 9 am lecture.. and i slept at 3 (to do an essay! bane of my life, essays)! i think i slept through a fire alarm (a practice one) that went off at 6 or something? either that or it was a dream. someone was knocking on my door and i let him in and he said i didn't wake up and had to see the head porter (sounded scary) and then i went to sleep again.. like the poem the raven by poe. "while i nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping, as of some one gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door." (i'm so educational haha)

and happy Guy Fawkes day! (although i don't like that they're celebrating his failure (right?).. but one can celebrate an occasion for different reasons.. like how ppl celebrate Christmas for diff reasons (secularists)) going for bonfire night later. hehe. so fun.
